James White, PT, MPT
James White, PT, MPT graduated from the University of Texas Health Science Center with a Bachelor's Degree and then a Master's degree in Physical Therapy in 2007. He is currently working toward a Doctorate degree in physical therapy from the University of St. Augustine with an emphasis on manual therapy. His interests in physical therapy are primarily manual therapy, athletic injuries and shoulder and spine injuries. James also has experience working in hospital and nursing home settings. His evaluation skills and treatment plans for all age groups are excellent.
He and his wife, Joanna, who is a school RN, have two beautiful children, Johnny and Olivia. James and Joanna are both native Austinites and plan to stay in the area to be close to family. During off-hours, James can usually be found spending time with his family, or swimming or playing pool. He was an outstanding swimmer for Westwood High School and Texas Aquatics for fourteen years. He also worked as a swim coach and lifeguard/CPR instructor.
